More Than A Role

Serving is one of the primary ways we follow Jesus, care for people, and join His mission alongside others.

It is an invitation to:

  • Use the gifts God has already placed in you
  • Build friendships through serving side by side
  • Become more like Jesus as you give yourself away for others

You may be the first person all week to notice someone who has felt invisible. You may help a child understand that they are deeply loved by God. You may become the trusted adult a student needs during a defining season. Or you may serve quietly behind the scenes, making it possible for hundreds of people to hear God’s Word.

Not sure where to serve? Here are a few places you can begin exploring:

Welcome People

Help make MBC Loudoun remarkably approachable from the moment someone arrives. Create a warm, thoughtful experience where every person can feel seen, welcomed, and cared for.
Includes: parking, greeting, ushering, the Connect Area, coffee, and hospitality

Invest in Kids

Help create a safe, fun environment where children can learn about Jesus, build friendships, and know they are deeply loved by God.
Includes: classroom leaders, small-group leaders, check-in, hospitality, and behind-the-scenes support

Encourage Students

Walk alongside middle and high schoolers during one of the most formative seasons of their lives. Help them establish relationships they can trust, wrestle honestly with God’s Word, and begin to follow Jesus for themselves, and not just because their parents do.
Includes: group leaders, event support, hospitality, and student ministry operations

Create a place for all ability levels

Help children, students, and adults with disabilities participate fully in the life of our church. Offer personal care and support that tells individuals and families, “There is a place here for you.”
Includes: buddies, classroom support, hospitality, and family care

Create the Sunday Experience

Use your musical, creative, and technical skill to help people engage in worship and hear the truth of God’s Word with clarity.
Includes: worship, production, photography, video, and creative support

Make Ministry Happen

Serve behind the scenes to create safe, prepared, and excellent environments where ministry can flourish.
Includes: safety, medical response, facilities, setup, administration, and event support

Someone from MBC Loudoun will personally connect with you, answer your questions, and help you explore a place to begin.

Explore a place to begin. We’ll connect you with a team leader who can walk you through the opportunity and help you take a comfortable first step.

Meet the team. You’ll receive the guidance and training you need; you won’t be expected to show up already knowing what to do.

Bring Your Part

God is building His church, reaching people, and changing lives across Loudoun County. And He has chosen, again and again, to do that work through ordinary people willing to bring what He’s placed in their hands for his extraordinary purposes.

Your time matters, your gifts matter, and your presence matters more than you probably realize.

And when each of us brings our part, more people get to experience the welcome, the care, and the hope found in Jesus – the mighty friend of sinners.
