Church Family

The Bible refers to the church as “members of one body.” At MBC, we live this out through a formal commitment to church membership that includes an application, interviews with an elder or staff pastor, and introduction to the body at a congregational meeting.

The first step to becoming a member of McLean Bible Church is to attend a Membership Orientation in person. This is a great way to learn about our vision, values, beliefs and our staff. It is also your opportunity to ask questions about the church. Classes are held several times a year and are required for all prospective members.

We want every member of McLean Bible Church to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. The family of God is one body that spans every generation, ethnic background and life experience. MBC welcomes everyone – from mature disciples looking to be challenged in Bible-based community, to those with no previous religious affiliation. Becoming a member demonstrates your commitment to Christ and to this church. If MBC is your home and you seek to impact Washington, D.C. in a mighty way with the message of Jesus, we invite you to join us. We want to help you on your journey to live out God’s plan for you!

Membership classes are held at each MBC location. For more information, and to see a membership class coming up at your location, select your location below.
