The Administrative Assistant serves the Location Pastor by attending to the general running of the location and addressing the church’s short- and long-term goals.
The Administrative Assistant provides ongoing administrative support to the Ministry Teams, Pastors and Directors. The Administrative Assistant assists in the daily operations of the church ministries.
The Awana Ministry Coordinator is a position at the McLean Bible Church, Tysons Campus. The incumbent provides direction and oversight for the Awana ministry for children and youth ages 2-18 to learn God’s Word. Each week, Awana provides teaching and training to develop strong moral and spiritual values, helping students learn about the reality of God and the truth of the Bible. The Awana Ministry Coordinator provides leadership, recruitment, training, registration, operational support, administration, and oversight to all participants of the Awana ministry, including Awana parents and volunteers. The Awana Ministry Coordinator works closely with the Kid’s Quest location Director and is responsible for developing and implementing Awana programs at the Tysons Campus for children. Awana meets on a weekly basis from September through May on Sunday afternoon for 2 hours.
