About Montgomery County

What to expect on your first visit

We’d love to connect with you before or after service at the Welcome Desk!

Our worship service is contemporary and energetic, yet grounded in the ancient and unchanging truths of the Gospel. Each worship gathering lasts about 1 hr 30 min and is a comfortable atmosphere that welcomes casual attire! You can feel free to just observe and take it all in, or if you’re comfortable, join in as we sing, pray, and learn together.

If you have kids, children, students, and those with with special needs are welcome to attend programming designed for them. Follow the signs to check them in or stop by the welcome desk so we can help you out. People of all ages and abilities are welcome in our gathering if you prefer to stick together. There is also a noise-controlled Family Room available to you.

Who are you?

We are centrally located in Montgomery County which has some of the most culturally diverse cities in the United States, and our location reflects that! Our multi-generational church family includes nationalities from all around the world but we gather to celebrate the common bond that unites us above all else – Jesus.

We’re young adults, families, transient professionals, and long-time residents, representing all kinds of ethnic, social, and cultural backgrounds. We hope to create a safe environment for you to thoughtfully consider the teaching of Jesus and His role in your life!

Where do I start?

We believe that a biblical church is called to be a family and we want you to feel at home with us, know authentic relationships where you can be honest about your failures, and know you’re still accepted because of God’s grace!

Start getting to know our community by visiting one of our Sunday worship gatherings. When you arrive, we have first-time guest parking spots in our Priority Lot right in front of the church building. When you walk through our doors, we have greeters to welcome you and answer any immediate questions you might have. If you have children, we have volunteers who will help check in your children to the Kid’s Quest programs. After the service concludes, please be sure to stop by the Welcome Center in the front lobby where we would love to meet you!

Next Steps

If you’d like to continue getting to know us (and we hope you do!), your next step is to attend MBC Connect. MBC Connect is a class that helps you learn all about our church and church leadership, ways to get plugged into community, and opportunities to serve. It’s also a great chance to get to know other people and make connections. MBC Connect is a one-session class that meets every other month during an 11 am service. You can see when MBC Connect at Montgomery County is happening next on our Classes page. We hope to see you there!

Welcome to the Montgomery County location of McLean Bible Church.  We’re glad you’re here and hope to see you at our Sunday worship gathering.  Church is more than something we attend or do.  We aren’t just a building or an event.  We are a group of imperfect people, the body of Christ, sinners saved by grace.  No matter what you’ve been through or where you’ve come from, you are welcome here.  Join us to see why God’s family is no ordinary family.
