Our first response to that call? Go out of our way to reach one person at a time – prayerfully, personally, and intentionally.

THE WHY
In Luke 5, when Jesus told Simon Peter to “put out into deep water,” it wasn’t about fishing – it was about faith.
Peter had already tried. He’d worked all night and caught nothing.
He was tired, discouraged, and tempted to settle, but at Jesus’ word, he tried again. And that simple act of obedience changed everything.
We’re in a similar moment as the Church.
In times of transition, uncertainty, or hardship, it can be tempting to play it safe — to stay near the shore.
But we have a fresh opportunity to see a fresh move of God in our generation.
Jesus is calling us to follow Him into deep water. To trust Him enough to take courageous steps of faith. Not just for ourselves, but for the people He came to save.
OUR RESPONSE
Between now and 2030, we’re taking intentional steps of faith together believing that God wants to move in and through our lives in ways that can only be explained by His power.
In our individual lives, we are committed to following Jesus and participating in His mission with everyday faithfulness and courageous obedience. As a church family, we will pursue this new five-year vision that we’re praying will help us grow deeper and reach farther.
We have four strategic responses that enable us to live out “Let Down Your Nets” in our neighborhoods, our city, and the nations.
Over the next several months we will focus on Reach One, mobilizing our church family to get to know people and help people get to know Jesus. We want to equip you to become more personally involved and invested in reaching the people God has placed in your life.
Our Start 5, Disciple 10K, and Impact 20M plans are in the feedback and development stages across our entire congregation. Our full strategy will launch this September. We can’t wait to share it.
This Vision isn’t just about our church; it’s about you. We’re praying you’ll join us and be amazed at what God can do in your neighborhood, workplace and beyond.

No, not necessarily. Reach 1 goes beyond just one person you can think of to share the Gospel with; it’s a lifestyle of getting to know people and helping them people get to know Jesus. We want to slow down and pay attention to the people God places in our path, prayerfully and intentionally engaging with them in ways that show the love of Jesus.
We are actively praying and strategically planning how we might start five new congregations, disciple the 10,000 people who call MBC their church home, and impact 20 million worldwide with the Gospel. We want your feedback in that process! So be on the look out for opportunities to give input and stay tuned for more info here beginning in September!
