Equipping Parents to Protect Kids Online and In-Person Join us for this crucial parenting event designed to equip parents and caregivers with wisdom and practical tools to protect their children in today’s complex, technology-driven world. Licensed professional counselor Julie Lowe, with over 20 years of experience, will share insights on how you can wisely empower kids to recognize, respond, and report harmful behavior, while anchoring these discussions in the hope of the gospel. You'll learn practical strategies and conversation starters for keeping your kids safe from both in-person and online predators. The seminar will include mini talks on pressing issues like the surprising realities of human trafficking and the continued need for internet safety. You will also receive guidance from our Director of Counseling, Eliza Huie, and Director of Student Ministries, Donnie Cohn, on navigating the digital world with confidence. Equip yourself to engage in meaningful, age-appropriate conversations and make informed choices to safeguard your children.
