Larry Cooper

Larry joined the Board in 2001. He and his wife, Phyllis, have been members of MBC since 1988. They have 3 grown sons and 4 beautiful grandchildren. Larry has been active over the years in the Creative Arts Ministry as an instrumentalist and has served as a small group leader, a member of the church finance committee and a member of building committees for the Caleb I and II, BFL I and BFL II MBC building programs. On the Board, he currently serves as the Chairman and as a member of the Executive Committee. He is also one of the three appointed Custodial Trustees of the church. Larry’s career history includes serving on active duty as an officer with the US Army Corps of Engineers and a 31-year career with IBM. Upon retiring from IBM in 1992, Larry founded and currently leads Cooper Consulting, Inc., a management consulting and technology firm that primarily serves the not-for-profit sector.
