In the midst of a global pandemic, we want to be a clear picture of God’s love across our city. Therefore, we are coordinating a church-wide effort to provide food and hygiene products to neighbors and communities in need. We have a network of relationships with schools and other churches, and they have shared with us about the need for food for children in light of them not being in school, and for families in light of various challenges at work. As a result, we are working closely with local officials according to CDC guidelines to pack and deliver helpful products to communities across our city. See below for more details and opportunities to get involved.
Fill out this Interest Form, and we will reach out to you with opportunities to pack and deliver products.
Please note: We strongly encourage those who are more at-risk in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19), particularly the elderly and those with current medical conditions or compromised immune systems, to stay at home as much as possible during this time. In addition, if you have any symptoms of sickness or have been exposed to anyone who is sick, you are not permitted to be a part of this work. Please stay at home and contact a medical professional, as appropriate. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old. However, children 10-12 may serve at our packing site with parental supervision.

*No glass containers or bulk packages please*
Please leave donations at MBC Tysons Clothing Shop donation cottage (in front of Door 2 on the lower level parking garage)
NOTE: We are not receiving clothing donations during the time of the pandemic
MBC has a network of relationships across all of our locations and counties in the DMV with schools and churches in various at-risk communities. We are coordinating deliveries with local officials in each of these communities. We will post on this site the specific locations and times for deliveries. During these time windows, anyone who is in need or knows someone in need can come and pick up products that we have packed.
If you are a member of MBC with a specific need and you are unable to pick up a care package at one of these locations or times, please contact us here.
We are working within CDC guidelines for safety and sanitation in all that we are doing. From hand washing and sanitizing to using gloves and following guidelines for social distancing in the packing process, we are undertaking these efforts with extreme sensitivity to sanitary, medical, and safety concerns for those who are packing, delivering, and/or receiving care packages.
