…intentionally and specifically for the spread of the gospel to all nations. We believe that prayer is the foundational work of mission because it is through prayer that we fully depend on God to advance the gospel to the ends of the earth. Therefore, we encourage every member of our church family to pray intentionally and specifically for the advancement of the gospel and the establishment of local churches among the nations. Join us in weekly prayer for the nations using our Global Outreach Prayer Guide!
…gladly and sacrificially for the spread of the gospel to all nations. When you give to the MBC Missions Fund, over and above your normal giving to MBC, you provide support for MBC global projects and partners working among unreached people. The Mission Fund invests in global ministry which serves the physical and spiritual needs of unreached peoples.
The local church is the means and goal of the mission. Here are some ways MBC sends members:
Short-term Sending advances the goals of our long-term partners around the world. The aim of short-term trips is to help establish churches where none exist and strengthen existing local churches. MBC members should prayerfully consider applying for one of our upcoming trips.
Mid-Term Sending is for committed members who are qualified by our church leaders to serve two months to two years overseas.
Long-Term Sending is for committed members who are qualified by our church leaders to serve overseas for 2+ years. Both mid- and long-term candidates are qualified by the church through a process of assessment and training. You can read more about the sending requirements and process here. If you sense God may be leading you to serve mid- or long-term, we invite you to fill out this Initial Intake Form so we can begin a conversation about you becoming an MBC missionary!
Whether you are called to go overseas as a missionary or to support the work of missions through prayer and giving, we believe that every member of our church family has a vital role to play in spreading the gospel to the ends of the earth.
