Parent Commissioning is a public expression of the fact that your child was created by God and belongs to Him. You are making a declaration, before Him and those witnessing the ceremony, of your commitment to make disciples of your children, leading and teaching them to follow and obey King Jesus in all areas of life. At MBC, Parent Commissioning is our opportunity to send our parents in the power of the Holy Spirit to take the gospel to their homes while promising to go with them.

This 45-minute, discussion based class will explore what scripture says about Parent Commissioning and the Parent Commissioning vows each family will make during their Parent Commissioning ceremony. You will learn how to lay a gospel foundation in your home while fully acknowledging that you, as parents, are completely dependent on Him to change the hearts of your children and bring salvation.

All families who would like to participate in Parent Commissioning at MBC must attend the Parent Commissioning class and complete the Parent Commissioning application.
