The past couple years have been hard on families. You've had to juggle the continual changes and disruptions the pandemic created. Loss of structure and routines, coupled with the uncertainty of when or if normal will every return, has weighed heavily on kids and parents alike. At Hope for Parents, our aim is to give you fresh vision and hope-filled encouragement as you seek to honor God and raise up children in these difficult days.

Grace in Parenting
Author, counselor and Bible teacher Elyse Fitzpatrick, along with her daughter Jessica Thompson, will be two of your teachers. Together they co-author Give Them Grace: Dazzling Your Kids with the Love of Jesus. They will share how the gospel informs all that you do with your children, both in principle and practice, and why grace in parenting is so necessary.

Raising Emotionally Healthy Kids
MBC's Director of Counseling Eliza Huie will be teaching on a topic relevant to so many parents today. She will bring expert insight from her latest book Raising Emotionally Healthy Kids and address how to navigate the emotional ups and downs and other struggles facing kids mental health today. Her biblical wisdom will provide needed help for parents looking to raise emotionally healthy kids.

Loving and Launching Older Children
Pastor Todd Peters from the ever-famous Todd Talks will be providing helpful and practical direction on one of the main goals you have as a parent. You lovingly raise kids to lovingly launch them. Sharing wisdom from his years as a parent and a pastor, his guidance will help to fix the hearts of parents on one of the God-designed purposes of raising up children: launching them confidently into the world.
