This class is for parents who want to help their children navigate the ups and downs of emotions in a healthy and faith-centered way. It will cover strategies for recognizing and responding to emotional overwhelm and provide tips for addressing anxiety, including how to help children turn to God's Word and prayer in ways that do not dismiss their struggle during times of emotional distress. By the end of the class, parents will feel more confident in their ability to help their children manage their emotions in a healthy way. Eliza Huie, our director of counseling, will teach a parenting class on April 23rd at 11 am. Registration is limited and required. Please choose which class you will attend (only select one time slot). Please note: Kids Quest will be available during the class time. In the event that Kids Quest is at capacity, you are welcome to bring your child(ren) with you.
